President and Mrs. Michael B. McCall of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System hosted the 10th Annual President's Gala and Benefactors Awards Dinner at the Lexington Convention Center on Saturday October 17, 2009. This year's event drew more than 600 state and local dignitaries throughout Kentucky to honor an impressive list of the state's leading individuals, businesses, and foundations for their voluntary support of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS). Grover, Jim Booth of Booth Energy Group, and John Small of Excel Mining were honored as the Benefactors representing Big Sandy Community and Technical College of Prestonsburg, KY. In 2008, Grover had joined the Big Sandy College Educational Foundation Board and now serves as Vice Chairman of the Board. He established a scholarship endowment in memory of his parents, William O. and Easter Arnett for a student at Big Sandy.
